Life partners, and now also business partners, Radhika and Rahul started their passion project, Aanchal Designs, in 2016. With a passion for ethnic design and an eye for the latest trends, the duo launched their store, showcasing stunning collections of modern ethnic wear year after year.
In the ever changing world of ethnic fashion, Radhika and Rahul quickly understood that their customers appreciated quality over quantity. Wasting no time, the duo travelled to the nooks and corners of India to build a network of vendors who could provide them with most chic and exclusive pieces for their seasonal collections. Today, Aanchal Designs is a well-established business, whose approach to curation of exclusive ethnic wear has won many hearts, and not just locally in Mangalore, but also across India and overseas. Born and raised in Mangalore, Rahul comes from a family that has run successful jewellery establishments through generations. After completing a Masters in Business Management in the UK, Rahul took an active role in the family business with ambitions of starting his own venture in the clothing industry. A natural entrepreneur, Rahul has a solid understanding of the market and is an expert at handling operations and finance. At Aanchal Designs, Rahul is responsible for supply and management, where he is devoted to sourcing the trendiest designs for his customers. Not only that, Rahul ensures that customers get good value for money without compromising on quality!

A trained Bharatanatyam dancer from a very young age, Radhika grew up with a natural interest for colourful designs and fabrics. An engineer by education and social butterfly by nature, Radhika is very good at catching new fashion trends and understanding customer needs. At Aanchal designs, Radhika is dedicated to communicating and showcasing the latest design trends and building a strong relationship with customers.
